This 7 piece collection of driftwood is a rare and beautiful offering . Each piece has been carefully curated over the past 10 years and is a unique testament to the natural beauty of driftwood.
These are actual pieces gathered up by me and my two little four-legged friends I rescued 14 long years ago they both recently passed and I just don't want to have anything in here that reminds me of the walks of them I love this collection and hate to give it up because these are basically out of thousands of pieces of Driftwood I found on the beach but it's like a desolate Beach so no one's around even in the summer let alone the winter because I work long hours I always feel guilty when I get home so whether it's sunny and beautiful in July or a blizzard in February I still take them for a walk 365 days a year never miss rain blizzard doesn't matter and after you do that for 14 years and 15 years respectively you've taken a ton of walks and I always had my eye out for natural Beach Glass and really beautiful and unique pieces of Driftwood where Sun the sand and the water over many months or perhaps even years almost petrify the wood this I'm floating in the salt water for so long and then it's smooth I guess with wind and rain and currents over many months and possibly years to give some of these pieces the softness of silk. All have been cured meaning they've been placed in natural rain baths for a period of about 6 months which slowly gets all the salt and salt water and salt particles out so now you're left with the smooth down beautiful wood but without sand and salt falling everywhere quite a technique we've come up with over the last 20 years and it leads to some of those beautiful Driftwood we actually won first place Best in show at Cape May art show several years ago because of the Driftwood we brought in and made art out of and these actually are some of the pieces from that award-winning piece and design we did years ago.
What's nice about this collection is with seven pieces and such variety and shape texture size etc you can keep the collection all together or use them in Windows and tables and Hall tables etc in many different rooms to give your house authentic nautical feel
