This beautiful textile rendition of "Kinkakuji Temple Kyoto" circa 1950 is a silk tapestry made by the Kyoto Orimono Co. LTD. Kinkaku-ji (金閣寺, literally "Temple of the Golden Pavilion"), officially named Rokuon-ji (鹿苑寺, literally "Deer Garden Temple"), is a Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto, Japan


This art piece is in excellent vintage condition. The silk textile has no defects, but has not been removed from the frame. The frame itself has a few imperfections as shown in the photos.
