A fine example of Mitchell's 1860 map of Quebec, one of the most attractive American atlas maps of this region to appear in this period.  The main map depicts the important rivers, railways, canals, and cities, with an inset map depicting the Environs of Montreal.   Dated and copyrighted below the map:  "Entered according to Act of Congress in the Year 1860 by S. Augustus Mitchell in the Clerk's Office of the District Court of the U.S. for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania."
