A pretty antique Nippon porcelain lidded sugar bowl with a simple hand painted flower scene in beautiful soft colors. On the handles and on the lid's finial is a raised Moriage design of scrolls in reddish brown.  It is 3-3/4" tall with the lid, and a little over 5" wide including the handles. Stamped on the bottom in green is 'Hand Painted Nippon' with the mark for Morimura Brothers (importers) used from about 1911-1921. It is in excellent shape with no chips, cracks or crazing.
