A fine example of Mitchell's 1872 map of Quebec, one of the most attractive American atlas maps of this region to appear in this period.  The main map depicts the important rivers, railways, canals, and cities, with an inset map depicting the Environs of Montreal.   Dated and copyrighted below the map:  "Entered according to Act of Congress in the Year 1872 by S. Augustus Mitchell in the Office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington."
