A VERY impressive account covering the  most important aspects of the baking  trade. It deals comprehensively with every  stage, from raw materials to the finished  article.  Mr. W. Bachmann, who has been for many  years a well-known and successful pastry cook  and confectioner in London, has taken great  pains to present this useful reference and  recipe book in a readable and attractively  illustrated form. It represents a most valuable  contribution to the furtherance and improvement of the bakers’ and pastrycooks’ art  throughout the English-speaking countries.  Mr. W.
