Retro Firewire 400 device captures analog video and audio (or s-video) and converts it to MPEG-2, the native format of DVD's, and is exactly what I used for decades in my VHS to DVD business. Doesn't come with power supply, remote control or firewire cables. Works from firewire power alone, and gets nice 720 x 480 captures of analog video.
