The Summit Trail Climber RT is a rugged terrain, all weather tire manufactured for light trucks and SUVs. Summit offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
This model offers great rugged terrain traction. The aggressive tread design and the durable rubber compound upgrade the model's grip on soft, loose, and uneven surfaces. The large tread elements firmly grip the surface with extra biting edges and maintain forward motion at all times. On the other hand, the self-cleaning nature keeps the footprint clean by dispersing mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements. This tread pattern also prevents stone retention from harming the tire's casing during the off-road performance. These elements ensure a safe driving experience.
Excellent all weather traction is promoted with this tire. The ideal tread design and the durable rubber compound boost the model's grip in dry, wet, and winter weather. In other words, this tread pattern firmly grips the surface with extra biting edges, while the all weather compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm summers and freezing winters. Hydroplaning resistance is offered as well, thanks to the optimized grooves on the tread area, which eliminates water and slush from the footprint in wet situations.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
