By popular demand, West3D designed and specified its newest series of FR4 build surfaces. These use .5mm thick FR4 adhered to a flex plate that is more than 60% thicker than the industry standard. The result is a highly wear resistant, material versatile, long lasting plate that looks great. Great video by LeeMerie3D showing the differences of all our printing surfaces. These are single sided with the back side blank. This will increase the hold over standard double sided plates. We generally oversize these by 5mm (eg. you'll note for a 250 plate we spec 255) this is for convenience so you don't lose build space when not perfectly aligning plate during application/removal) Not many can say they have more selection than West3D, build surfaces is no exception.
