Antique Historic Ham Radio QSL Card mailed to Crosley Radio
founder Powel Crosley Jr at his Cincinnati Residence on Kipling Ave in
May of 1930 .. 100% authentic item. Item is in good condition and will be
contained in a semi rigid top load protector. As shown on the card, the sender
noted that he is available to "ragchew" or relay anytime .. The contact took
place on April 30th 1930 and was postmarked on May 3, 1930. The only thing to
note is that the ham radio database listed Powel's Call sign as W8GM and the
card, although addressed to Powel was made out to W8PD who was a radio engineer
and presumed close friend of Powel. We included photos of this in the
description .. The card is definitely addressed to Powel Crosley and it is a reasonable assumption that the communication originated from Crosley's station in Cincinnati.
