      Many manufacturers, even the manufacturers themselves, have thought of offering kits for lowering or raising the height of your bike, but most forget one vital point: the side stand.

      Having a lowered bike is all very well for those who need to have their 2 feet on the ground, but if you're going to have a bike that's as straight as an 'i' once you've put it on its stand, with the risk of tipping over to the other side because the stand is too long, or, on the contrary, giving the impression that you want to rub the footrest because it's been raised, that's not great either!

      And if the stand has been modified according to the rules of the trade, but probably not without a certain cost, then when it's time to put the original bike back on the road, you're in a lot of trouble! You have to start looking for an original stand...
