SPRING CLEAN-UP SALE --

I am literally up to my eyeballs in magic I have not had time to list, (Okay, I'm up to my ankles, or mid-calves... but there's a LOT of great stuff). And I have to clear it our fast before I trip on a box of vintage magic, fall into the clutter and vanish from the earth forever :-) So I am listing items with very little description, and just one or two photos. (I know, I always say I won't have much description, and then I write a short essay about the trick... But this time, I mean it! Since I am not spending a lot of time on the listings, I will make the prices extra great! If you know your magic, you will recognize many items and know they are a great deal here. Or if you don't know the item, but you trust me to only offer you excellent items, at a great value, then you can find some real bargains.

Look at photo(s) -- what you see is what you get

From the legendary magic maker and dealer, Sherms, this is one of the better items in the entire Sherms "Super Magic" line (in my opinion).   It is a clever trick, and has a well-made custom metal gimmick to achieve the magic.

Comes with original gimmick, match box and matches -- these are in great condition. Also includes the original instruction sheet (which has a large tear on top edge.   The original packaging box shows typical wear, but is clean and still closes and maintains structural integrity.

The effect:  magi pantomimes rolling a cigarette.  His hands are clearly empty.   He places the pantomimed invisible cig in his mouth, and reaches into his pocket for a box of matches.  Cleanly opens the box, removes a match, and strikes it, bringing it up to his invisible cig to light it.  When his hands come away from his mouth, there is now a REAL lit cigarette between his lips.

I estimate this one is from the 1950s -- this based on the dating of other magic items from the same estate lot. 

A nice example, for the collector of Sherms items, or vintage close-up stuff.   This one is very hard to find these days, especially with the props in such good condition.

CONDITION NOTES: previously owned, but in very good condition.  Includes original matchbox, matches and custom gimmick, plus original instruction sheet.  Original packaging box is also include).   The matchbox and gimmick are in excellent condition, no damage.  The instruction sheet is unmarked and clean, but does have large tear on top edge (see photo)   The package box is clean but well-worn, missing one inside flap, and showing hinge, corner and edge wear.
