Porphyra is a wide-temperature seaweed that can grow and reproduce in a variety of environments. It prefers to grow on high tide reefs with strong winds and waves, strong sunlight, flowing tides, and rich water. It is also very tolerant of low tides and has a strong regeneration ability. Porphyra is rich in many nutrients. Its riboflavin, protein, sugar, phosphorus and thiamine content is much higher than that in spinach.
