This collection is a compilation from several albums he recorded in Britain.  Part of his group were future members of 10cc.
His career, and others, had fizzled when the Beatles invaded.  Ironically, he went to Britain in the early 70's.  He was befriended by Elton John and signed with his Rocket Records.

Did you know?
He may have co-written over 500 songs!
At age 8 he studied piano at Juliard Preparatory Division for Children.
His mother wanted him to be a classical pianist!  When he got a five figure royalty check for "Calender Girl" at 21 she changed her mind.  He went pop, but always incorporated classical into shows.
He wrote "Oh Carol," "Calender Girl," "Calender Girl," "Stupid Cupid" and "Breaking Up is Hard to Do!"
He was employed at the famous Brill Building in New York!
He played session piano on Bobby Darin's "Dream Lover!"
He was very popular in Italy and England!

Check out the photos and I hope YOU buy this great compilation of Sedaka from 1974-1980!  This is from a personal collection!  It is not from an odiferous overpopulated cootie-laden thrift store!
