John Deere B Cylinder Head
Part number on the casting is B2871R
Part number AB4204R
Used on John Deere B sn 96000 and up
If you are replacing a cylinder head with number B1784R or B2501R you will need
an A4227R oil tube adapter for the rocker arms.
This cylinder head has been through a machine shop and has been magnafluxed.
It is free of any cracks or repairs & has no broken bolts. The head is sold bare, with no valves etc., and will need a complete rebuild before use. The biggest issue is that the threads for the drain plug are rough and will need to be repaired.
