This short block is the standard equipment on the 2002-2005 Australian STi and serves as an excellent upgrade for all WRX models. The 2.0-liter block features a semi-closed deck design with forged rods and pistons, providing enhanced strength and durability. It is a direct bolt-in replacement for all WRX and STi models.


THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE MOTOR: This is a fully assembled bottom end, including the block, crank, rods, and pistons only. You will need to reuse your existing cylinder heads or purchase new ones.

The OEM 2.0L WRX heads will bolt onto the EJ207 2.0L short block, but it may result in a change in compression.

Returns Policy

We will accept any new, returned item, purchased from our stock, provided it is in resellable condition within 14 days from the date of sale. New Returns must be in their original box with all original packaging enclosed. The Purchaser must pay for any postage costs back to Frankston Subaru. All products sold by Frankston Subaru are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty repair/replacement policies only. We will be happy to help our customers with their warranty repairs by directing them to the manufacturer’s warranty/repair department or customer service department. Any mistakes made by Frankston Subaru will be resolved at no cost to the buyer and postage fees will be covered.
