These little dishes attach to the side of a plate (as shown) or a bowl...turning the clip to accommodate whichever one you choose to use. Please Note: The plate or bowl has to be thin like the plate in the pictures...it will not clip onto a thicker dish.
They are used...I purchased them for my sons who love eating salsa, but they were too lazy to use them LOL
