The Monteynard family produced several branches from the first authors of the admitted or proven lineage: Raymond Eynard I, lord of Monteynard, Montlaur, l'Argentière etc., who made a will and homage for the lands of his house on September 25, 1365, married to Galburce Béranger, then to Marguerite de Rochefort, lady in part of l'Argentière, with whom he had Jean Eynard I, lord of Monteynard and Montlaur (who made a will in 1415), married to Marguerite Alleman
