Arcana Coelestia (translated as The Heavenly Arcana) is an extensive, multi-volume theological work written by Emanuel Swedenborg, a Swedish scientist, philosopher, and mystic. Published between 1749 and 1756, this series offers an esoteric interpretation of the Bible, particularly focusing on the inner, spiritual meaning behind the stories of Genesis and Exodus. Swedenborg explains that the Scriptures contain deeper, symbolic layers, revealing insights about the human soul, the divine, and the afterlife. The work is central to Swedenborgian theology and aims to guide readers toward spiritual enlightenment.
