A mug with the image of cherry blossoms and trees in full bloom, showcasing the craftsmanship of Chikuzen "Okinamoto Pottery"
This mug evokes the image of cherry blossoms in full bloom dancing in the air and cherry blossom branches swaying in the wind, as seen from the second floor of Starbucks ReserveĀ® Roastery Tokyo.
The dancing cherry blossom branches, amidst the beauty of the soft pale pink, give a sense of strength that completes the scene. This is expressed using the "flying plane" technique, a feature of Oishiwara ware, and white cosmetic clay poured onto the side of the mug.
One of the charms is that each product is different depending on the position of the kiln during firing. Some of the pale pink colors appear grayish, allowing you to enjoy the unique beauty of each one.
