UniGel Procto is a medical device in the form of rectal suppositories indicated for auxiliary use during the healing of wounds of the mucous membrane of the anus and rectum.

UniGel Procto is a rectal suppository supporting the healing process of both acute and chronic wounds of the mucous membrane of the anus and rectum: anal fissures, hemorrhoids, in patients after Barron's method of treating hemorrhoids (Barron's Ligature).
A medical device in the form of rectal suppositories reduces bleeding, burning and itching.
The suppositories relieve pain.
Composition:
A white torpedo-shaped suppository containing powdered HEMA-HAS copolymer and a fat base (Adeps solidus).
Application:
At the perforation of the blister, separate one suppository from the entire package, gently tug open the individual package and remove the suppository.
Suppositories are inserted into the rectum, if possible, after defecation and washing.
The suppository should be inserted deep into the rectum, with the pointed end pointing towards the anus, preferably with a slight forward bend.
Unless the doctor recommends otherwise, UniGel Procto suppositories should be used once a day, preferably before going to bed.

The product is intended for adult patients.
For external use only (rectally).
In children, pregnant women and breastfeeding women, UniGel Procto can only be used after consulting a doctor.
In the case of rectal diseases, it is particularly important to ensure proper hygiene and regular bowel movements.
It is necessary to drink enough fluids, avoid eating spicy foods and increase the consumption of foods containing a lot of fiber.
