Vintage 1970's womens's pants suit (pants and jacket) in a stunning ombre-striped cotton woven. Women's size 8 (based on how it fits me--please see measurements below for best fit.) The unbranded, unlabeled 2-piece suit, reminds me of Indian pieces from the '70s in the texture of the weave, the beauty of the dyes--spanning from mulberry purple to rose red to pumpkin orange--and the style of the wide-legged pants especially. The single-breasted jacket features a rounded notched collar, 6 oxblood plastic round buttons down the front, and 2 patch pockets with faux flap details. The pull-on style wide-legged pants feature an elasticized waist. To be conservative, I would recommend hand-washing the suit in cool water, separately from other clothes, and hanging to dry. Both pieces are in excellent pre-owned, vintage condition, showing little--if any--wear. Happy and gorgeous! Great as a combo, or as separates. Sure to be a conversation piece.
