This is a really easy to use DMX tester. It is designed to do the three things
you need the most out of a DMX tester: Send signal, receive signal, and test
cable. You can enter a single address or multiple addresses and give them all
a single level or give them all different levels. One single button to clear
all addresses back to zero level. The tester has a "dimmer check" mode that
allows you to bring up an address at a level and then push that level to the
next address with one button press. Receive mode will show the level of
whatever address that you type on the keypad. The display will indicate if
there is no valid signal present. Cable test mode will show you that you have
continuity on all 5 pins of a standard DMX cable. The screen will display the
pin to pin connection in case some of the pins are wired incorrectly or
shorted together. The DXT-1 also has a new feature where you can choose to
display the DMX value as a percentage (0 to 100%) or as the full DMX value (0
to 255). The screen will alert you if RDM packets are present on your DMX
line. Made in the USA. From NuDelta Digital, makers of the LogiCue Digital Cue
Light System.
