This is the Lone Buck Guitars guitar neck sanding block.  I make these with a 3D printer to help with the task of cleaning up the rasp marks on a new guitar neck.  Just attach your favorite self stick sandpaper to the internal radius and sand away!  I made this because as an avid guitar builder myself, I always hated the task of trying to clean up the scratches in a new neck that my rasp created.  I did it for a long time just using my hand and sandpaper.  This makes the task a lot easier and more consistent.  The internal radius is 1 1/4" which works on most necks for standard guitars and bass guitars.  Large necks (over 7 strings or classical) are a little too big for this one, but I do have a larger 1 1/2" radius sized block listed separately.

Using this will take some of the inconsistencies out of the task of cleaning up a guitar neck that has just been rough shaped with a rasp.  You will still have some fine hand sanding to do prior to finish but this will shorten up the amount of time it takes to do the hard part!
