The VWR Vortexer 2 is commonly used in tissue culture studies and a wide range of lab applications. This easy-to-use vortexer makes agitation seamless with one flick of a switch. Thanks to its reliability and flexibility, the unit is one of the most common vortex mixers in today’s market. Users of the VWR vortex mixer can swap out the silicone cups at the top to suit their application.

Vortexing with the VWR Vortexer 2 can be achieved in two ways: simply flipping the toggle on or setting it to touch on, where you depress the cup for a quick shake. This vortex mixer has 10 speeds adjusted at the dial in the front for a range of between a gentle 600 to a more vigorous 3200 RPM. The durable cast metal construction has a hefty weight to keep the vortexer from walking while in operation.
