Simpson Strong-Tie HL35HDG Hot Dipped Galvanized Heavy Angles can be used for connecting lumber at a 90° angle using either through bolts or lags. You can also use the HL35HDG to connect lumber to concrete using an a wedge anchor or Titen Screw Bolt. Hot dipped galvanizing provide corrosion resistance from the elements or corrosive lumber.

Hot Dipped Galvanized Coating Information
Hot-Dip Galvanizing is applied after the products are fabricated. The coating weight increases with material thickness. The minimum average coating weight is 2.0 oz./ft2 (per ASTM A123 total both sides). These products require hot-dip galvanized fasteners (fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153). Anchor bolts are hot-dip galvanized per ASTM F2329. Level of Corrosion
