There are some discolored or yellowed/browned spots which is quite common on acid wash garments from this era. See pics carefully.

There is a safety pin which is on inside out side near wasit. I left it as it eas found this way.

This does not smell like a fragrant detergent. When I find items such as this, that have been stored away for decades, I choose to leave them as found. I personally like the scent of a bygone era. Perhaps I am a weirdo. But, if you collect vintage, you may understand.

I think it is obvious from the photos, but in case you are not familiar with the style from the era, you should expect to wear something underneath this dress such as a shirt, T-shirt or tank top. Just wearing a cute bra underneath could be fine too. But, it will not be modest unless you wear something underneath it (other than a bra). I hope this description makes sense. If you wear just a bra and the dress… your bra and some skin will show…. Be okay with that or prepared to wear a top under dress.
