Dexter has written an inscription in Latin “O domina--illuminatio mea--utinam opus quintrum te delectet' and signed it ‘Colin Dexter MCMLXXXI' A fine copy in d/w (not price clipped) which is slightly faded on the spine but is still near fine. A Detective Morse mystery.
The Latin inscription by Dexter roughly translates as ‘O lady, my enlightenment, may my fifth work delight thee.'
