Superb Royal Doulton Lambeth Mid-Century Vase - Vera Huggins - Leaf Design - c.1940's

 A fine Royal Doulton Lambeth mid-century stoneware vase by Vera Huggins. The bulbous body is encircled with a delightful abstract leaf design. To the base is the Royal Doulton Lambeth impressed lion mark as well as the incised full signature for Vera Huggins.

Condition

 In good condition - there is a feint hairline running from the foot into the body for approx 6cm. Mentioned for accuracy is a small area of kiln residue and an adjacent small loss to the glaze - both are on the bottom of the foot and not apparent when the vase is displayed. A striking example of this artists work.
