ITEM DESCRIPTION:


In this listing we are presenting a wonderful A. Lange & Sohne Top Quality 1A 18K Solid Gold Hunter Pocket Watch in Excellent Condition with all original parts.  This pocket watch was made from an early era of the A. Lange watch manufacturer since it is only signed with A. Lange and Dresden on the dial and the serial number is within 4-digits which indicates it was made before 1870s when the first of the Lange Sons jointed the business.  The high quality of work is evident from this earliest era of the famed watch brand, this particular specimen was made to be a top grade watch that could rival the best watches in the world.  This watch has all of the fine features such as Saxony-style Glashutte ¾ plate layout, diamond end-stone, solid gold escape wheel & fork, blued-screws and much more.  The 18K case serial number matches the movement to prove that the watch is 100% original.  


Condition-wise the watch is in good operational order where the winding and running well.  We do not make guarantee on timekeeping accuracy or operation.  It has not been serviced by the seller and it's under the sole discretion of the end-user in regards to service or maintenance.  For any antique watch movement we always recommend for the owner to conduct full service with qualified watchmaker to ensure longevity of the mechanism.  Cosmetically the watch is in very good condition for its 150 years old age with the case in great shape that the guilloche engine-turning is still fully intact.  Also, the enamel dial is free of hairlines or cracks.  Movement has a tiny bit of rust and oxidization on the winding wheels but not enough to distract against the beauty of finish.  The crown has worn down a bit.  This watch is very large and heavy at 52mm and 137.8g total weight.  No accessories included, guaranteed 100% authentic.

We only accept payment made by eBay managed payment.  Buyers are welcomed to use all acceptable payment methods under eBay Managed Payment Platform including PayPal, Credit Cards, e-Checks, and more.  We will process shipping once funds are received and paid out from our seller managed payment account which usually takes 3-4 business days.


SHIPPING

For domestic shipping we only use FedEx. Shipping cost listed uses 2 days Express delivery. Overnight shipping will be available upon request.  For international sales outside of USA please inquire before making bids or purchase for shipping availability and cost to your country.

All items are required to include insurance in which the cost will depend on the ending value of the item. By nature of the transaction we reserve the right to declare full value on customs.  Buyer will also be required to provide positive feedback before the item ships. Please contact us before the auction ends so we can estimate international shipping cost.


RETURN

There is generally NO RETURNS for vintage or antique watches sold.  Only exception is that return can be requested if the item significantly deviate from the listing description and must be made within 2 days after receiving item. Any doubts must be addressed before the payment is made. We will not accept returns based on arguments that comes after the payment has been made. In case a return is agreed, buyer must return the item to us first before reimbursement is made. Reimbursement will not include original shipping cost and return shipping must also be paid by the buyer. Request for returns made on the basis of claiming items are NOT AS DESCRIBED will be subjected to a 15% restocking fee and no refund will be given to original shipping cost. Please note that we ALWAYS CLEARLY DESCRIBE our items and if it's our error then we will provide unconditional FULL REFUND.
