Vintage Huge Ham Slicing or Baker's Cake Knife with Thin Flexible Carbon Steel Blade & Wood Handle Made by J. A. Henckels 

In 1731, Peter Henckels founded Zwilling ( J.A. Henckels’s predecessor ) in Solingen, Germany. 

This is the professional high end quality Chef's knife produced from the famous city of blade Solingen in Germany.  Solingen is renowned for manufacturing of fine swords, knives, scissors, and razors.

This knife has the blade hand forged from the fine carbon steel designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction.  The handle is triple pinned over the full tang to good fitting for durability, strength, & balance.

Maintenance Suggestion:  Hand wash only in warm water after using, especially if used on foods that have acidic sauce/liquid.  After washing it, wipe the blade and handle completely dry.  Use of electric knife sharpener or dishwasher not recommended.
