Vintage Micro-Serrated Bread Slicing Knife with Chromium Carbon Steel Blade & Wood Handle Made by Robeson Cutlery Company
In 1879, Millard F. Robeson founded Robeson Cutlery Company, Inc. in Elmira, New York.
This knife has the blade hammer forged from the carbon steel with chrome finish designed to take a finer edge and hold it longer providing sharp cutting satisfaction. The handle is secured with rivets to good fitting for durability, strength, and balance.
This knife blade has micro serrations arranged in the alternating diagonal pattern. This alternating pattern has a patent number 1,388,547 designed by Joseph E. Burns in Syracuse, New York in 1921.
