Product Details
The AD8313 is a complete multi-stage demodulated logarithmic amplifier that accurately converts the RF signal at the input to the equivalent dB scale value at the DC output. The AD8313 maintains high logarithmic consistency over the signal frequency range of 0.1 GHz to 2.5 GHz. The application is simple, requiring only a single power supply from 2.7 V to 5.5 V and the addition of suitable input and power coupling. It consumes only 41 mW at 13.7 mA (for TA = 25°C) when powered from a 3 V supply. With power-saving features, the input is pulled high to initiate a low-current (20 μA) sleep mode with a threshold of half the supply voltage.
The AD8313 is manufactured using ADI's advanced 25 GHz silicon bipolar IC process and is available in an 8-pin MSOP package. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +85°C.
