Do you have a MX5 MK1, MK2, MK2.5 1995 - 2005, 1.6 or 1.8 with an intermittent non start problem?

More and more of the original MK2.5 TRW(ex Lucas) factory immobilisers, marked TRW 36AS, MK1 Temic immobilisers and MK2 Lucas 19AS immobilisers are failing. It may begin with an uncharacteristic non start that does not recur for a month or more but is a sign that the immobiliser is starting to fail. The situation will get worse and finally the car will not start at all. Until very recently the only cure for a faulty immobiliser was to replace all associated components including the ecu which really has to involve the same immobiliser part apparently living on borrowed time. No new immobilisers available but I can program used one to your existing ecu and transponders if a working immobiliser is required. We have developed an emulator that replaces the immobiliser, make your transponder chips redundant and resolve your non start problem permanently.

Please make sure your immobiliser is marked DC69 67 5G2A/B, TRW 36AS for MK2.5, GE4T/NC30 67 5G2 Lucas 19AS for MK2 or Temic for MK1. The emulator fits to the existing immobiliser plug and mount on the car and allows your car to start every time.

In order to supply the MX5 MK2/ MK2.5 emulator, I simply require a photograph of your immobiliser label after purchase. The MK1 Temic will require you to send me the immobiliser and key, if fault intermittent or ECU if total non start

The emulator is supplied with a one year guarantee. If there is a component related fault within a year of purchase, the unit will be repaired/replaced free of charge. If the emulator fails to resolve your issue and in the unlikely event that the issue lies elsewhere, I will accept the part back for a refund, less costs and a reasonable charge. Bear in  mind that this emulator is future proofing the startability of your MX5 where the original Immobilisers appear to be on borrowed time.

I like to be able to guarantee that my emulator will resolve your problem, so encourage you to scroll down this listing to the seller Business Information and contact me prior to purchase. I will take you through the necessary tests that will facilitate a confident diagnosis of your problem and a guarantee that the emulator will resolve the issue completely or be returned for a refund.
