Item Description: Vintage 1980's black tailored double-breasted trench-style dress with 3/4-length sleeves. Unbranded. Size 8. Made in USA of 75% polyester / 25% rayon (NON-STRETCHY). Sewn-in shoulder pads. Buttons are brass/gold-tone with black enameling. This is a great example of the very popular 'militaria' style of the late 80's, and followed the women's 'power suit' trend - but with a feminine twist. Functioning buttons on one side allow the dress to also be worn open over a tank top with pants, or as a lightweight jacket. No pockets.

Measurements (all are APPROXIMATE): Waist is 34"; Chest is 19.25" from armpit to armpit; Sleeves are 19" long; Overall length (from the shoulder to the hem) is 40".

Condition: In very good overall pre-owned vintage condition. No tears or runs in the fabric. However, there are some very tiny pinholes in a couple of areas on the back of the dress, near the middle and bottom. A few small areas here and there of minor 'pilling' and micro-snags. Black color is still good and dark with minimal fading. No missing or damaged buttons. *Please see photos for close-ups and condition details.
