Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Heathkit IO-17 oscilloscope.  At this point these are around 55 years old, and the old parts are weak and failing, with leaky capacitors. We will make them new again!

This kit includes replacement Supertech axial film and electrolytic capacitors, as well as Supertech radial electrolytic capacitors to replace the can capacitors, and two adapter plates to aid in replacing the can caps. It also includes instructions to explain how to install everything. You will get the exact parts shown in the picture.  These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I rebuild vintage gear.  The new capacitors are the same capacitance as the originals (except the 30 uf can cap sections are replaced with 33 uf), but most go higher in voltage.  New caps are 100v, 450v, 630v, 1200v, and 2000v.

I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help. Please see my pictures for details.
