Up for sale here is this complete recap kit for the Technics SL-QD3 turntable. This includes replacements for all electrolytic and tantalum capacitors.  The old capacitors start getting leaky, resulting in speed issues. This will take care of most of the circuit-board-related issues you will see with these turntables.
Even if your turntable is working, you should still recap it.

This kit includes replacements for all electrolytic and tantalum capacitors on the boards, as well as a replacement for zener diode D16.  These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon Muse, Wima film, one Panasonic FC, and one Supertech axial.

I will include fairly basic instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. Please note that these turntables will frequently need other mechanical work, and this kit and the instructions will not cover that.  I will provide a link to download a free service manual from VinylEngine, which will be helpful.

US shipping and handling is $6, and international is $20, no matter what quantity you buy. All my small parts are set up for combined shipping, so just use the "add to cart" feature and then check out all at once, and it will combine shipping. If you have any questions, please ask.
