For your consideration, an impressive antique Westerwald stoneware wine jug decorated with renaissance era peasants representing the months of the year, circa 19th century Germany. The jug is in overall good antique condition with no major chips or cracks. Mild fleabite chipping with minimal glaze loss to the exterior surface, denting to the pewter lid, and an old glue repair to the pewter lid fitting at the jug handle are noted in photos.
