This K-line North Dorchester Railroad custom painted coal hopper is a great addition to any model railroad enthusiast's collection. It is a great vintage piece, though not actually vintage. The hopper is part of the K-Line brand and has a unique theme of custom made. This item is perfect for those who are looking for something special and unique for their collection.

I custom did these about 25 years ago. Car was painted , lettered and built using all nos parts from k-line. This is not a painted over car. I beleave I only did 10 of these.

They were done for the North Dorchester Railroad which was a non-profit trying to start up a tourist Railroad.  They sold them as a fund raiser.

I did coal and covered hoppers when I did them. They sold fast. This one found its way back to me a little while back.

North Dorchester Railroad never had any coal hoppers or covered hoppers these were just a custom build.
