For your consideration is a freshly refoamed Infinity center channel speaker for surround sound systems.  Infinity is known for its clarity in sound reproduction and this is what went through my mind when I saw it at the thrift store.   The foam surrounds were shot but nothing was grinding when I gently pushed on the cones so I took a chance.

But you know how the saving goes, too many projects plus a really great deal on a brand new Cerwin Vega center channel  left this sitting on a shelf forgotten for a few years.  I finally decided on freeing up some space, but rather than toss this I decided to try my luck and fix it.  First time trying to repair a speaker this way and it doesn't look bad and performs where it counts.   I let it sit a week afterwards and hooked it up for a couple of months, and it sounds great.   It doesn't match my setup however so here we are.  There's a little hole in the grille cloth on the top, and some other wear and tear make this less than perfect, but it sounds amazing.
