The Pro-30 programmable scanner covers 30-54MHz, 108-136MHz, 138-174MHz, and 380-512MHz.  On this model, it scans the 16 frequencies that you program in.  It was manufactured to be sold at Radio Shack.  It is for scanning Police, Fire, Whether, amateur radio, and other frequencies.  This does not come preprogrammed.  I have tested this Radio to make sure it is in good working order.  Please contact me first, if you have any questions or issues.      Price lowered to $24.99 was $34.99
