Please note that the chest is in need of some repair as shown in the images. Mostly screws that need replacing to secure the underside of the lid

It has been painted white but if you know what you’re doing, it can easily be restored to its original dark oak

Lovely, antique item. Has been used as a blanket box and comes from a smoke-free home.
