Abercrombie & Fitch was  established in 1892 primarily as a purveyor of upscale sporting goods and (rugged) clothing. After they filed for bankruptcy in 1976 (after a long and mostly successful run) I purchased (among other things) all their rolls of fabric labels in spools of 500  and long boxes  of 550. They were woven by Artistic Identification Systems, Inc. (founded under a similar name in 1889) of Pompton Lakes, N.J. I just unearthed a carton of various labels.  Free shipping does not include tracking. This group is 20 with 10 different  imprints including Viyella, John Weitz, Flannel, Briarcloth. They date approximately 1958-1970. Note: I have very few of these. Note: I will also sell 10 different ones for $20.  These make great gifts for costume designers, label collectors and vintage enthusiasts. Free untracked domestic shipping. I  3985
