Access Card to the VIP Inaugural Luncheon

For sale is an official access card to the VIP Inaugural Luncheon following the Presidential Inauguration of Barack Obama. The luncheon, hosted by the members of the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies, has been a tradition for more than a century. Approximately 200 guests including the President, Vice President, members of their families, the Supreme Court, Cabinet members, and members of Congressional leadership attended the 2013 event in Statuary Hall. The card reads, "Admit to U.S. Capitol Rotunda for 2013 Inaugural Luncheon." The "Luncheon location is the Second Floor of the U.S. Capitol in National Statuary Hall." It continues, "Please show this card to assist the U.S. Capitol Police and Ushers in allowing you access to the U.S. Capitol for the Inaugural Luncheon." Seating for the luncheon began at 12:40 pm. Text is duplicated on the reverse. A very nice VIP collectible from President Obama's second Inauguration.
