All sealed, new in box packages. The set includes orignal 66381 and some 66381-95 collectibles which means there are some duplicates (Simba/Timon and Nala/Zazu). The -95 packages are labeled on the back with the -95 numbering and on the front with the word NEW. The playset also includes more duplicates of the same characters. The other difference is that the NEW labeled boxes have advertisements for the playsets on the back and the other boxes advertise the characters included in the set on the back of the box. ALL characters from the original set are included. Scar was added later, but he is NOT included in this collection.
