The Stihl FS38 is the Lightest grass trimmer in the STIHL range. Along walls, under trees or even your lawn borders, it is ideal for trimming grass edges and putting the finishing touches to your garden. Comes standard with AutoCut C 6-2 head and can also fit a PolyCut head for thinning work and larger weeds.

The FS 38 comes with a 2 year domestic warranty and a 1 year commercial warranty.

Electronic ignition module
This ensures reliable starting and trouble-free running. The ignition system is fully encapsulated and thus proof against damp and dirt.

Manual fuel pump (Purger)
A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting strokes required following extended breaks in operations.

Multi-function control handle
Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator’s hand never leaves the handle.

Round handle
The round handled grass trimmers and brushcutters are ideal for working in areas where space is limited, e.g. thinning between bushes and shrubs.

Fuel - The engine requires a mix of petrol and engine oil.  Simply mix a Stihl 50:1 two-stroke engine oil with unleaded (95 octane) petrol.  The simplest method is using a standard 5 litre fuel canister and to add 0.1 litres (100 ml) of Stihl HP 2 stroke oil, close and thoroughly shake the canister and the mix is ready to use.
