This is a New Old Stock 1T4 radio pentode valve (equivalent to DF91) designed to run on a low voltage battery "Accumulator" supply with a 1.4V Heater and with a low HT voltage usually between 45V and 90VDC. Originally released in 1940, the 1T4 was one of the new generation of miniature B7G base valves that made small portable radios a much more realistic possibility.

Ideal for a beginner to the world of valve radio construction and used in many of the classic simple one valve Long Wave, Medium Wave or Short Wave regenerative radio circuits of the past. Manufactured in the 1960's or 70's by Radiotechnique in France, who were owned by Philips.
