The Beatles’ ground breaking 1967 Album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band became the soundtrack to the “summer of love” but its appeal is timeless. The record was a huge commercial success, topping the UK album chart for 27 weeks during an initial chart run of 148 weeks and was number #1 for 15 weeks in the USA during its initial chart run of 88 weeks. The Steiff Rocks! Sgt. Pepper Teddy bear is inspired by the famous album cover where The Beatles are depicted in satin military style uniforms, each in their own distinctive colour. These colours adorn the Sgt. Pepper bear’s chest, with gold coloured epaulettes and a military cap completing the design look. As a final tribute, the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band drum logo is incorporated into the bears cap.
