§After two years, FATE was a hit and began being published about every other month.

§  These two bound volumes contain eight issues. NOTE: There seems to be some confusion between the use of the words “Volume” and “Number” at the magazine. The two words are reversed in one issue. Also, there may have been an October issue that is missing from the second bound volume – or, in the haste to get things to the printer, somebody lost count.

§  Mild wear to hardcover binding and mild wear to magazines within. The pages of the magazine appear to be printed on newsprint, so they show some “foxing” or tanning.

§1950 saw stories on black magic, hypnosis, ghosts, and of course, flying saucers.
