Charming from top to bottom, this enchanting Mickey Mouse collectible is created and hand-painted by master artisans. The centerpiece of this Disney lamp is a fully dimensional image of Mickey Mouse with his early era pie eyes, traditional white gloves and classic red shorts. And the vintage movie reel under his arm is a nod to the early days of his blockbuster cinema career.


The uniquely designed base is actually a working praxinoscope - an early animation device and vaudeville amusement from the 19th century! Give the base a spin and watch as the still images of Mickey Mouse inside reflect off mirrored surfaces to create moving pictures of the earliest kind! Topping the lamp is a striped fabric shade featuring Walt Disney's famous quote "It all started with a mouse…” When illuminated, the shade reveals a graphic of Mickey Mouse. A golden finial shaped like the iconic Mickey Mouse ears logo is the perfect finishing touch to this 20-inch tall lamp.
